Harvesting Chocolate Scotch Bonnet - 72 Fruits

My Chocolate Scotch Bonnet was taking up so much space in my tent, so I decided to harvest all of the fruits, then trim the entire plants back. This will put the plant back into vegetative phase, and will start to put out more shoots soon. After that, the plants will fruit once again.

I harvested 72 fruits! Some of them are green, but they are the darker, more mature green. The younger ones were tossed out.

The pepper leaves are edible, do not throw them away, you can eat sautéed.

the scotch bonnet is very prolific or you just have a way to get that sort of production?? Have you used "air-pruning" methods for better lateral roots in container plantings? Are you sure they're not chocolate habanero? They look more like that than Scotch bonnets.

I’m growing one chocolate scotty this year for the first time. The leaves are huge, much bigger than other ones I have going. You have some really nice brown ones there. I’d bet most people have never seen a pepper that colour.

I've started using nutrients with the two cup method. How often should I add nutrients? And should I still be watering? Well done by they way.

Do all of them turn brown, or do some of them remain red?and if they are all supposed to be brown, what nutrients can you add the soil to get it to that point?

Khang, my plants are getting too big for my cups, using the soil and nutrient in the bottom of the cup daily. It grows so fast, my question is that I tried to find the bucket at Home Depot but cannot find it, any suggestions?
Thanks again I will post pictures or a video this coming Thursday.

How does the flavor of the chocolate scotch bonnet compare to the chocolate habanero?

Wow Khang! 72!! And you trimmed more off your plant than I have in my pot. Haha.... That's one variety I haven't tried yet (on the list though!)

What nutrients do you use and at what ratio? I only ask because your grows are totally awesome? Keep it up. You have very informative videos. Thank you for your love of peppers.

Wonderful, I still need to do this, so I will review the video that shows how you made and what buckets size you used. Will you be giving any seeds away?
Thanks so much.
