Wow. I lived through the hurricanes in 2005 Bonnie Charlie Francis and Ivan. My house went under 2 ft of water very quickly I know how fast it can happen. This is very scary I hope the people do evacuate that need to and bring their pets as well with them. This is a monster of a storm.

I mean the lady complaining about being on a cruise ship while her house gets hit… kinda… but there is no way she didn’t know this before her cruise and right now her life is honestly saved instead of being in the path of the hurricane so look at it as a blessing.

I have lived in AL all my life, 67 years. This is why so many people in AL wont live at or own a vacation home on the coast. So many of us have seen it first hand for decades. Most that buy homes on the coast are from other states and they have them long enough to tire of the costs then sell them to another person that has not experienced the real "coastal living" as represented by realtors.

Florida sucks. I lived there for 4 years and finally left. Living in CA since 2018. CA is beautiful, awesome state to visit and live.

Nothing scarier than going through a major hurricane. Went through Maria 2017 as a category 5 hurricane
