Inspiring Young Women into the Medical Field

Nearly 120 female students from high schools throughout Connecticut recently spent part of their Saturday at a workshop held at UConn Health. The Inspiring Women in Engineering and Medicine program was founded by UConn Health orthopedic surgeon Dr. Katherine Coyner who holds the workshops quarterly to introduce young women to the medical field she's thrived in.
