Night Striker Arcade 1989

Night Striker is an awesome game in the same vein as AB Cop, Galaxy Force, and Thunder Blade. You're tasked with taking out terrorists who are good at doing their job by abducting a scientist and attacking the city. The game runs at a blistering pace and there are multiple paths to choose from after a level which leads to different endings much like the Darius games also by Taito. Night Striker saw a port on the PS1 and was on one of the Taito Arcade Legend games on the PS2. Definitely worth picking up.
