My eldest tried me one Christmas she was shocked to find a Nike sneakers box full of pencils and paper for her grades! Never had a problem out of her after that. She's now 32 and shares the story with my grandson 😂

My wife and I are raising 6 grandkids and we had to cancel Christmas for 3 of them. I don't think they thought we were serious until they saw their siblings getting gifts and they weren't. Kudos to this mom for standing firm!

That's what all parents need to do when their kids are bad and failing in school. Our parents did this to my brother when he was flunking out of school and that made him be better to the point he was on the National Honors Society and be a salutatorian at his high school graduation and is now an attorney.

I had to cancel Christmas when my daughters was a teen.Her gifts weren’t wrapped at the time.I showed her what she was missing and gave the gifts to other loved ones.

When my 2 boys were bout 5 & 7, Christmas was 2 days later! Christmas morning all the gifts said to Mommy from Santa, to Mommy from Gram & Pop pop. We had family dinner that year at our house, and they had to explain to all their cousins why Santa didn't bring them anything. They got it together after that! 😂
