Double attack is arguebly worse than quick attack, because in most cases a quick attack unit with 4 attack will kill a 4hp enemy without the enemy striking back, but a 2 damage double attack unit wouldn’t withought the enemy striking aswell.

The only case you’d want double attack instead of quick is against barriers, or with units that dont already have quick or double attack.
