Thanks to @ProfessorRex for pointing this out regarding the PokéBlock Bug:

Follow the flow chart to the blue tile informing you to throw Safari Balls. Note that if the Pokémon was enthralled by the first PokéBlock you threw, then its escape rate is 5%, not 0%.

I had no idea they open it up after the Pokémon league.
I been on a mission to complete the National Pokédex, I have 343 total between all 5 games from Gen III.
I have all 150 Kanto and all 200 from Hoen only missing about 35 from Johto which I thought was not obtainable with just the GBA 5 games.
This will help me close the gap!

What if the pokemon i'm looking for (heracross) is not near a feeder? what should i do with the pokeblocks then? would it just be luck??

Do you need to have exactly 5 of each Pokeblock type? Could I use this method if I had something like 8 purple, 5 blue, and 30 brown?

I caught a Girrafarig first encounter in 1st map, pikachu after, 2 natu's and a wobbuffet, no berries lol

How do you determine the type of pokeblocks?? I just have purple and brown

So how exactly does the Pokeblock bug work? Is it always start with red or does the bug work with any block type combo? If a Pokemon was attracted to a certain color Pokeblock that would be block type 1, but what would the other two be then? Not entirely sure how this mechanic works

All that bug method just for me to capture them without the use of pokeblock. Just throw pokeball then if fail then go near then just throw pokeball again and again until captured.

How do you cross the mud and jump with a bike in safari zone?

They keep escaping me.
I tried it like your chard, step by step, like literally with throwing the safari ball as last step without coming closer beforehand but they still escape, they also escape when trying to get closer before throwing.
Also tried to use sweet scent instead of turning around over and over.
I am trying to catch a Pikachu.
