While on the campaign trail over the weekend, former President Trump claimed '...we had no terror during my administration. The only terror we had was Nancy Pelosi, who's a crazed lunatic.' Trump also continued to joke about the assault of her husband, Paul.

Watching America potentially sleepwalk into a fascist autocracy is, frankly, quite terrifying. It wasn't that long ago that Americans laid down their lives to prevent this exact scenario, and now we have a decent proportion of the US population gleefully welcoming it with open arms.

He’s just channeling the anger of the people, the less educated who don’t have a propensity for independent thought. Just imagine for a second if Melania had been attacked by a man with a hammer, the GOP would lose their minds if anyone mentioned it jokingly.
