How to make Oishi Fishda-Crusted Popcorn Fish
INGREDIENTS
For the Marinade
⁃ 300g cubed Boneless Fish (like Cream Dory or Sole)
⁃ 1/2 Tsp Garlic Salt
⁃ 1/2 Tsp Pepper
⁃ 1/2 Tsp Paprika
⁃ Dash of Cayenne Pepper
⁃ Juice of Half Lime/Green Lemon
⁃ Dash of Salt
For the Crust
⁃ 1 Tsp Cornstarch
⁃ 1 egg, beaten
⁃ 2 bags of Fishda, crushed finely
⁃ Vegetable Oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Marinate the fish with the garlic, spices, salt, and lime juice for at least 15 minutes.
2. Add 1 tsp cornstarch into the marinated fish.
3. Take one fish, dip in egg, then coat in crushed Fishda.
4. Double coat the fish by dipping it again in egg and then the crushed Fishda.
5. Repeat until you coat all fish.
6. Fry in vegetable oil.
7. Serve with sweet-chile sauce, bbq, or catsup.
