I knew about the box climbing trick. Also noticable, no footstep sounds on the roof.

You pretty much nailed it, TEOS! Yeah, enough effort was put in to imply a whim or a plan, and when it was abandoned or forgotten, it wasn't cleaned up. The protrusion of the bay window and roof from next door happened after the space was hollowed.

Ok, that is interesting! Now I wonder if GOG version´s of Thief Gold has that window or not. 🤭🤭As for the room, it kind of looks like a secret niche or something.

It's sad original Dark Project anywhere online to download. Can't even install it from the CD on Windows 10.
