You can see just how humiliated Bucky is feeling over this situation, fighting to hold it together to play his part while remembering his past and probably wanting to kill Zemo in this moment.

Brühl doesn't just stroke the chin. He wiggles the bottom part of it. I'd have burst out in laughter if I was Stan. It's so ridiculous.

Reminds me a bit of that scene in The Winter Soldier movie where where Bucky looked legitimately horrified when they put him in the chair and started electrocuting him to wipe his memory. It was actually some really great writing that this apparently mindless assassin with superhuman strength could have just pure fear in his eyes at the prospect of being tortured. Here he just looks broken and sort of deadpan.

Poor Bucky, I felt so bad for him during this moment. It takes him back to being just an object Hydra used however they wanted, and Zemo *relishes* doing that to him with the chin touch - it must've been an enormous struggle for Bucky not to snap at that moment, break character and throttle him.

This just points out how terrifying Bucky was as the Winter Soldier. Even with superheroes left and right the idea of owning the worlds most deadly assassin is too tempting to pass up.

The vibe of this scene is the same as the scene in CAWS when Alexander Pierce said "Your work has been a gift to mankind." So fucking uncomfortable to look at, now that we know Bucky's mindfucked past and how he's trying to move away from it.

The line..."Thats the Zemo I remember" is pretty clever if I'am right.

It implies that the last time Zemo visited her, he wasn't himself...which makes sense considering he lost his family and likely saw her for the information and resources to get what he needed to take down The Avengers.
