I just ordered a very similar smsl branded amp from AliExpress, and it came with the same power supply. That was 24V 5A and had those same cut wires inside. Did you notice how the new output wires skip some of the output filtering?

Wow never seen that bad before, Only time Ive seen anything like it is when a batch of something is wrong, they would cut the wires off for use on something else and throw the rest away... I wonder if they were deemed faulty and then sold dirt cheap...

I got ripped off on ali express trying to get some good 12v 5amp psus with the same junk. Probably a warehouse in China hacking these together in new cases
