I like this idea. The idea of Daybreaker having a vulnerability with Luna recalling the past sounds really interesting. I also find Luna being Twilight's mentor instead of Celestia in this alternate timeline awesome. I think Twilight would still be a nerd even if Luna was her mentor. The difference between Luna being Twilight's mentor in this timeline and Celestia being Twilight's mentor in the show's timeline is that Twilight probably wouldn't be as anxious about past/future events and focus on present events since she would be emulating Luna's calm demeanor instead of Celestia's anxiety. This means that she wouldn't have caused the events that occurred in "Lesson Zero" because she wouldn't be worrying about making sure she has a letter written for Luna like she was with Celestia. I think Celestia is very anxious in the show timeline and Twilight emulates Celestia's anxiety because of the events she caused in "Lesson Zero" due to how nervous she was about not having a friendship report ready to send to Celestia in the episode. Since Luna had "Nightmare Night" in the show's timeline, in this alternate timeline, it's actually really hard to figure out what Luna would name a holiday in remembrance of her sister. I also really love the thought of Luna banishing Daybreaker to the moon like Celestia did to Nightmare Moon. I think that would make the most sense.

I always thought that Daybreaker was a lot crueler than Nightmare Moon. Celestia would turn into Daybreaker if stressed about not having the strength or cope to run the kingdom, foreign affairs, among a ton of other things. With eternal daylight there would be virtually no resistance against Daybreaker. I'm not sure if the elements of harmony would actually work against Daybreaker, but given that they are linked to the alicorns, I should imagine it would have some effect. If Daybreaker had to be banished, I don't think the Moon could contain her, she would have to be banished into a nebula far out into space, before a thousand years later, she comes roaring back as a comet. Luna isn't as powerful as Celestia, but she has intelligence and wisdom to compensate for it. She would no doubt find a different Mane Six to help her beat Daybreaker, probably Maud Pie, Trixie, Lightning Dust, Braeburn, Moon Dancer, and Sapphire Shores. In memory of Daybreaker's return, there would be Daybreaker Day with a parade with torches, holiday barbecues, colourful costumes, and campfire tales in the afternoon.

I doubt that Celestia would have created Nightmare Night. It's more likely to have evolved naturally from ponies' recollections of the events of Luna's rebellion against her sister.

One thing I love about Luna is her mysterious personality, but not only that it’s just how much she represents the night calm, quiet, controlled, elegant, graceful, and beautiful. Luna is the manifestation of the night the stars everything about it that makes nighttime wonderful but at the same time, she also represents the darkness that can hide in it the fear of the unknown or what can be hidden within the darkness, a.k.a. her nightmare moon form honestly she is the night and I love everything about that.

I enjoy both princesses. Both have their qualities. (But Princess Luna is my favorite of the two, and wish there had been more episodes with her.) Luna would definitely create her own "Rebel Alliance- Lunar Republic" to countermeasure, while Daybreaker if doesn't go insane, would create a chaotic Empire and maybe even go to war with the rest of the world.

Based on Daybreaker’s 🔥 breathe, I think Celestia probably fell in love with a dragon and the citizens of Equestria were not into that. Leading some ponies to attack the dragon land and maybe killing her dragon love. Heart broken Celestia transforms into Daybreaker & seeks revenge but, Luna intervenes and subsequrbtly uses the elements to banish her. Where exactly I couldn’t say.

Daybreaker would literally be able to burn all of equestria, cause them less food storage, and yet she is way more powerful then luna, i think this is how the fight would go, just like you said, luna would try to make mercy with her sister, trying to calm her down, but daybreaker wouldn't care, besides it has to fit the story for being banished for 1, 000 years, and yet that was her big sister, luna actually cares about her sister, and yet it is a very VERY hard fight, daybreaker putted a good fight, too good, she basically would've burned luna alive if one slip was seen, so luna of course had to keep on using her defense shield, and yet would even try to defend the other ponies if daybreaker burns the other ponies, and yet when daybreaker does that, luna blocks the fire, without using the shield by trying to protect the fellow citizens, having her wing burned, daybreaker then stops, seeing her sister hurt, then Celestia tries to fight back in the mind, but suddenly the pegasus made rain go down, eventually cooling lunas wing, but as well as daybreaker, daybreaker went away from the rain, and once they found out daybreakers weakness, they made more clouds appear, basically just making it rain all over ponyville and equestria, basically making daybreaker defeated, but then luna takes out the elements and banishes her sisiter to the moon, even after everything her sister has done, she doesn't want her to suffer, and yet i think they wouldn't get a water outage kinda, since they have the rain, so i think they'd still have supplies, exception to if the sun keeps on staying up for who knows how long, then it would be too much for the crops and plants and it would only lead to a food outage, besides they have rain, atleast that can work

Edit: this is the second edit since i only edited my sentence, which would make the pegasus's look way more better then the others, so basically not only would rainbow dash keep on being interested in that story and eventually keep bragging about it, that would eventually lead to a lot of arguments, so yeah, if daybreaker ever were real in the show, it would definitely have lots of major consequences of friendships, food, and even luna

Edit: in really deciding to edit these do i, oh well and yet it woudo actually cause pegasus's dying as well, so it would actually make arguments alot, the pegasus's would say they costed their life to save equestria, while the other tribes would be annoyed, it would actually make friendship impossible, because the other two tribes would be so upset at the other one, would mean the pegasus's would leave equestria, making equestria actually no more, as the tribes will now leave each other, making it only unicorn, only pegasus, and only earth ponies, as it means that not only would twilight have a difficult time trying to make friends with literal different tribes, except rarity, it would mean that friendship and mercy wouldn't even be known, meaning luna has to also work by taising the moon, raising the sun, making rain form since all of the tribes don't like each other anymore, have secret dinners, with the other tribes which is the pegasus and unicorns seperately, and so much more, making her the little sister that has to do so much, and i mean SO MUCH ever since daybreaker arrived, and yet twilight would also be worried for luna working herself to the brim for the other tribes, making twilight more calm but also still a worried wreck for luna, so it would still mean twilight would be more anxious, but only anxious about luna, her mentor now from this other universe, to dry herself out, and yet twilight tried to help, multiple times, but it would only cause more chaos, which would make twilight actually even more anxious as luna tried to help twilight, but since twilight doesn't want more work for luna, twilight tries to work on it on her own, and i guess sunset would try to help twilight too since luna may have sent sunset in order to check, so yeah it would still be very bad for that kind of universe, only for nightmare moon it would make everyone slumber, but for daybreaker would cause so much suffering and even more fear then luna, meaning everypony will know daybreaker will come back, and yet they'll get they're rain clouds ready if needed, but luna actually said not to use the rain clouds this time which confused, the pegasus, but its only because luna knows twilight can do the right thing, giving twilight the other task which would make all of the other tribes realize that they can work together, is with the power of friendship instead, showing that tribes could still work together, it will be difficult, but it will be all worth it in the end.

I also think about the old design of Celestia, because Luna after defeat had her old design, she was more lighter, do you think Celestia would also be lighter after defeat? And instead of that hair she would have still pink and because of "literally Luna" I would also add that the party of "Celestia's Return" would be at night, how you like this idea?

I think see with vaporize Twilight on the spot. If we use the comic book version of daybreaker or even the dream version she immediately attacked nightmare Moon and in the comic books see basically almost one-sided most of the knights of the Moon without even having a conversation with them first. And unlike Luna she is willing to plan ahead before doing something so I'm pretty sure if it was the opposite Luna would be in the dirt or on the moon still.
