I strain to put into words the shared beauty of how these lyrics captured the group and individual oppression that people across the planet were experiencing 50 years ago, giving hope and power through rebellion and struggle that many of us still embrace and embody in our lives today.

Natty Dread is a timelessly great album. Every track on it is a killer. Right from the opening notes of the band and the I Threes' backing vocals on 3 O'Clock, this music has an attitude that just grabs your attention - and keeps it.

A 1968 VW delivery van full of flowers, a cassette player with reggae playing and there can be no road rage!

Maybe one of the best examples of Bob's ability to do falsetto during recording..Rebel Music..

They don't make music like this anymore. Classic Bob. May God Rest his soul.

The way Bob screams at 1:46 with that little twist at the end is magnificent

My favorite, when I studied in Argentina I also learned it’s low key the unofficial country song.

I've been listening to Bob since early 80's and with the help of other reggae artists relating the worlds troubles I understand we are here to correct the wrongs done to humanity
