I've been installing emulators on my rgh 360 and i've been noticing that Playstation games do not play the cutscenes without skipping like a scratched CD. I think it could be because the audio/video files were never intended to be played off of a hard disk and instead, basically read directly off a CD. Who knows what, if any, type of codecs were used to encode those files. Maybe the audio back then was as simple as .WAV audio which played directly from the disk instead of loading it to RAM? In my case, it plays as though it is missing some kind of buffer to prevent skipping caused by random read/writes by the hard disk.

I bought One some months ago. The only big difference With your Is that i am not able to use a VGA or RGB cable. Only composite. With others, i have no images at all. Has you probably noticed, there is not setup options visibile. I tried to enter With sd dongle for Dreamcast With dreamshell Files on It and trying to rewrite configuration, but nothing changed. There is a chance to do something? The vendor don't understand the problem, and i didn find any useful Page on the net. Please let me know!

How much did you get ripped off? Can't you just buy a regular used Dreamcast on Ebay and a GDEMU too? Seems like that would be cheaper.

think it now comes with SSD but without controller it is useless, use redream on a pc and if you register it for a few pounds it opens up a host of settings

Oh, that internal battery the Dreamcast has.... more than once my Seaman has died because I forgot to reset the clock to the correct time before playing that game.
