That was very well handled! If u want a tip, try to sit down in the saddle rather than balancing on your stirrups because that tells the horse to slow down. If you just spend 10 min every course trying to sit in the saddle, you will be able to choose the exact speed by pushing forward in the saddle or holding back! It takes alot of time, I know because everyone goes through it, but it's worth it! Keep it up!

Yup that's gonna happend a lot trust me just try and keep ur balance and make sure to help the horse to the jump and make sure to count ur strides!

This happens to me all the time it was just ur horses striding was off once you start getting the feel of it you can tell if your horses striding is off and you can either slow them down or speed up there canter to get there striding right (or just hold on for the landing 😂) hope this helps !❤

Good job for staying in btw, I’ve just had my horse riding lesson as well. And it’s not her fault or the ponies the pony accidentally tripped after the jump, and since I’m only little that would of been scary for me xx! And the pony after pulled his/her head down!!

just a tip that i always use is if that happens once im over the fence i give the horse a bit more rein to help then re gain their balance x
