This is messed up all the way around. Families may need to check the other bodies buried there. They did this with too much ease. There's no telling how many other "unidentified" people have been buried without any notice to next of kin.

This head line needs corrected! He wasn't allegedly hit! An off duty officer DID in fact run him over, they did an investigation and now are circling their "wagons" because they were caught. After looking more into this, it looks more and more like they have a vendetta against the Wade family! Charges need placed and people need fired! This isn't a simple someone forgot to call 1 day after an "accident"....this is months of negligence and attempted coverup!
My heartfelt prayers and condolences to this family! I hope they get justice and resolution!

Wow, that’s pretty F’d up. that just happened here in Idaho with the state police too. They ran some lady over walking in the road on the way to another accident but they didn’t bury her in some field.

5 months! Why 5 months. I need to know how he was hit? Like what happened? This is so sad, her only son. This is terrible. Wait a minute did the police bury him? WTH. Going on. What they mean proper burial who buried him?

For all the ignorant and downright uninformed people posting comments about why the mother didn't report him missing or why was he walking on the highway.

1st. He left his home on March 5th his mother reported him missing on March 14th.
2nd. The medical examiner found a prescription bottle on his body with a name which was later confirmed by fingerprints to belong to the deceased.
3rd. The Coroner's investigator shared all of this information with the Police Accident Investigator.
4th. The Coroner's office repeatedly asked for information about the investigation into contacting next of kin.
