This wasvery helpful and informative. Thank you. I am 52 year old female with a pinkish/white sore on the tip of my tongue. I am disabled in the USA so I have Medicare but no dental coverage.

The sore has been thete for 7 years. and a month ago I got several new ones on my tongue, my soft palate is numb, I am having trouble swallowing, and breathing. I have such severe ear pain it causes daily and now nearly constant migraines. my whole mouth and throat and whole had and neck hurt so much all the time.

The ER doctor treated me like a drug seeker. The instacare doctor tested me for strep. it was negative of course... but suggested I see an ENT. Is that where I go?

Anyway... I will keep trying till someone listens.
