fun fact: The Nether Ruby is not an ore, BUT The Ruby Was An Ore, In 2012 Minecraft wanted to implement trading and so, he thought about a new ore. the ore was gonna be called “ruby” of course, but it was removed because it looked similar to RedStone. While removing it _Jeb was making a new ore that we call, “emerald” obviously, _Jeb forgot to change the textures. and now the emerald looks exactly like the ruby. also the Ruby was in the game for ONE DAY.
