I will totally prefer offline shopping if the product is available nearby, you can get much better prices than online stores.

Yes, I prefer buying things offline, their offers are better plus I don't have to go to the service centre of anything happens, the store owner takes that responsibility and contacts service centre on his own.

Offline beats online most of the time. Except few cases

Honestly, the price of electric appliances are cheaper online compared to offline(in my city).
But buying offline has more benefits if the thing is expensive like washing machine, refrigerator etc

In Delhi I can confirm offline prices are higher compared to online. I went to chroma and also reliance digital as well as local stores. For refrigerator, TV, washing machine and RO water purifier

It’s totally true. I had the same experience for a Bosch washing machine. Croma gave me a price even lower than Bosch outlets and amazon

Always enquire at multiple stores of multiple brands and negotiate with the least quoted price at the store of your desired location. The sales guys will talk to the store manager and slash price to that of customer asked for. Also the extended warranty cost is highly negotiable since it doesn’t cost them a penny as it is offered by themselves unlike it is online where insurance or extended warranty are provided by a 3rd party. Ps: speaking from my personal experiences of buying appliances

for expensive electronics offline is better, but for low price electronics or smartphones or apparel I prefer online, kyuki mall m product already expensive hote h aur offline shopkeeper ko pta hota h ki customer negotiate karega isliye pahle hi price kaafi jyada btate h.

When it comes to varieties the offline segment gets behind. U can get all varieties of brans online but will have to visit multiple outlets for different brand checks.

It has always been the case . I have been window shopping Tvs for atleast 5 years . Also bought 3 Tvs as well. Relaince digital prices are actually high compared to small independent sellers . And they are actually cheaper in small towns compared to cities . Fascinating yet true .
The offers get crazy in Diwali time . The period in which sellers and manufacturers work on percentage based commission on whatever price the seller decides to sell . I have negotiated Sony x900f up to 98k which launched at the price of 150 k . Lg c2 to 119k . Samsung q95t for 125k

I used to shop everything online, but things are changing now. Lack luster customer service for products bought online has motivated me to explore offline and yes, I always get a price match.

Sure I brought HP Pavilion Gaming laptop 2021 model of 8GB Ram AMD 3550H, 4GB Nvidia 1650, with Amd Radeon internal 2GB Graphics, with 2 TB HDD, 256 SDD NVME Pcle with extra 2 M.2 slot for extras and total cost was around 70K but i got for 63K, i just rejected all the goodies including laptop bag, free mouse, free antivirus, free warranty blah blah blah....when i rejected all the free goodies i got the price reduced to 63K...got 7K discount in Reliance Digital Showroom Palakkad Kerala.

Yes. May be on normal days this scenario may be true. But compared to the Diwali and Big billion sales, i do not think that shopkeepers or malls will be able to match that price. And refrigerator and washing machine is not something you buy in emergency (except few cases) you plan them to buy beforehand and can be bought at the cheapest price in big billon sale with proper credit cards.

It's really true and the resale value of any product is also higher offline as well

Definitely agreed, this Dhanteras I bought Nothing phone 2, Flipkart was selling it for 39.5k but only with sbi card discount, I got the same price at offline store without any card discounts, definitely will prefer buying products offline than online

I bought a haier bmr fridge recently... Online price 58, 000 got it for 44k with 2 year extended warranty worth 6500. Bought it from croma. Really a good deal isn't it. Just ask them for employee offer n other card offers n negotiate a bit. They will run behind you like anything.

However, the only thing is offline stores mostly keep only those products on which they can earn a higher margin. Which are most of the time expensive products from top brands. Whereas in online stores you can also find some budget products as an alternative to the top brands.
