Seeing that animation of a supernova was actually kinda unsettling. We only ever see it stationary because it's so far away, it makes you forget that this is actually an explosion on a scale that my brain couldn't even BEGIN to comprehend, enough to wipe out all life thousands of times over. That much energy, all being released so violently, it's terrifying just to think that destruction on that kind of scale even happens
