In Greece socialism means if your parents leave you a house in their inheritance it takes around 6 years of red tape, beaurocracy, paper work, before that house is in your name. It hurts the little guy because for 6 years he has to pay lawyers, accountants, architects to get the papers in order. Ontop of that he then needs to pay this huge inheritance tax.
