Calculate average excluding outliers in Excel with the TRIMMEAN function.

This function allows you to enter a percentage of values to exclude from the range. This percentage can be entered as a constant or be a cell value, though you can calculate the values to exclude, for example, the max and min.

How would you use this in a pivot table? Instead of summarising values by average I want to exclude largest and smallest values from the average Can this be done? Thank you
