Harry Roque: 'Wala nang tago-tago' | ABS-CBN News

Former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque on Friday said there is no longer a need for him to hide as he has submitted to the Netherlands government his application to seek asylum.

In an interview outside the International Criminal Court detention facility in The Hague, where former president Rodrigo Duterte is detained, Roque said the review process is expected to last for more than a year.

Roque requested for asylum amid an arrest warrant for contempt issued by the House of Representatives for his failure to attend its probe on Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs).

He has also been linked to illegal activities at POGO hubs in Pampanga and Tarlac, although these allegations have yet to reach court. - report from Rose Eclarinal, ABS-CBN News
