Okay, let's talk about this thing we're making.

We're making a looper, and we want you to see what that looks like. The tiny voyage that is making a pedal. And unfortunately, I'm your narrator. Because Joel lives in Minnesota. So.

0:14 - Series overview
1:44 - Intermission 1
2:04 - What Blooper Is
11:10 - What Blooper Is (right now)
17:07 - Blooping with Christine Bougie

Let us know what you think.
We want to know.
We really want to know. Tell us.
Let's make a looper together.

See you next month.

I KNOW I'M TALKING OUT LOUD I HATE IT TOO

It feels weirdly right that the first video Knobs makes on the pedal he's designing, is also the first time he talks on the channel. Its like some strange pedal prophecy is falling into place.

guys what if he just hired a voice actor

You start talking from the beginning of the video without any warning, you’re doing a thing with Chase Bliss (of ALL pedal makers) and it’s a thing that doesn’t exist in my pedalboard.

I think I need to lie down.

I love your voice, don’t let people get you down about it. It’s calming, imo

It's like seeing a cartoon character in real non-cartoon life

You explained this thing to me at NAMM when I stopped by the Chase Bliss booth, and it blew my mind. Didn't even realize you were Knobs until I stopped back a few days later and another member of the CBA team pointed you out as Knobs. The Blooper seems incredible man, very innovative stuff. Can't wait to get my hands on one!

Playing the loop in reverse would be a great option. Expandable storage via micro SD would be really nice too.
Great video as always, man.

it’s my favourite type of pedal (looper) from my favourite pedal channel (knobs) in my favourite colour (blue)! just perfect.

I see myself broke and ultimately divorced once I get my hands on this and spend days alone orchestrating the end of time. Love it.

i’m speechless. it’s like you’ve made a pedal to do everything you’ve wanted to do with all these little loops in all your other videos and it’s clearly became quite obvious you were working with joel and your videos were getting sponsored over time. i have yet to own a chase bliss pedal because i simply can’t afford them but fuck this is worth saving up for for. well done man. keep going.

Really cool to see the development of a pedal. I’ve never seen a designer/company be this transparent about product development before and it’s so cool to see it

The fact this will have cv sync is a big enough selling point for me. All the other features will just be gravy.

The sheer magnitude of potential that this pedal has, especially in it's form factor, is astounding.

I think I'm just as excited for this video series as I am the actual pedal. This is an all around awesome idea.

Your videos make me feel comfortable, uncomfortable, inspired, jealous, and many more emotions all at once. ❤️

Thanks for the glimpse into the painstaking development of this exciting new pedal, great sounds from Christine Bougie at the end.

Experimental looper! So, a few things. Being able to be in record while modifying the loop length/sample rate and then that being reflected in all its crazy glory on playback. The Timefactor/H9 does this swimmingly. As does the PCM 42 and it looks like the Rose. Can you make it do that? Can you change the speed in intervals when it’s in record?
Additionally, loopers get way easier to use when you’re not relying on 2 buttons to control multiple functions. A breakout box foot controller or at least the possibility to attach a midi foot controller with permanent mapping would be a game changer.
Lastly, the Hexe Revolver loopers have a neat function in that the speed and pitch controls while continuously variable have wide sweet spots so you can zing to a 5th and not overshoot. Hard to explain without using one. If you need a line of a Timefactor and or Hexe pedal hit me up. Oh yeah, the ease with which you can move the loop start point and end point on the Timefactor is a thing of beauty. Something to consider.

This is the climax I've been waiting for since first subbing to your channel years ago
