Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum and Parfum. Which is the better fragrance?

For those who are undecided which of the BdC to get, the EdT is a louder youth and the parfum is more of a big brother gentleman. And the EdP is the happy middle child.

EDP is more versatile. I like that it's more fresh. I personally prefer it. Both are amazing. To each their subjective own.

After awhile EDP starts to smell bar soapy and like pink bubblegum which I’m not too fond of. Parfum on the other hand smells more mature and darker and woodier. I prefer it more. Both their starter smell, smells very extremely similar when you first apply it. With EDP smelling a slightly lighter when first applied.

They smell very similar to the untrained nose anyway. Also when notes overlap alot, the second scent gets extinguished to a great degree even with a strong perfume. I did this with Amouage Interlude and Interlude 53. Both are beast mode frags. The 2nd scent gets a lot weaker smelling when you immediately smell after the 1st.

I have a full bottle of parfum and a sample of EDP. My preference is most of the time parfum, but sometimes depending on my mood, im vibing the EDP.

I had the same reaction too smelling them together I couldn’t smell Parfum at all

How long on skin before they did the test? Just wondering if they are smelling more mid or base notes while judging.

The parfum feels different to me.

It's like it has a creamy top that keeps the scent trapped.

On the other hand the EDT is like the scent is not strong and clear enough.

I chose EDP because the BDC scent is more clearly defined, I liked it more, and it stayed on my hand faintly for days. Yes, I didn't bathe, sue me.

Guys i wear BdC EDT but i feel like it completely dissapears after about two hours. i reapply every 2 hours at work, am i just nose blind and just making myself reak more and more through the day or is this normal?
