I appreciate the in-depth color reviews because most creative content creators don't mention specs as extensively as this channel does. There are many editors and creative professionals who want monitors that can serve both work and gaming purposes without being overly expensive, considering that reference monitors cost tens of thousands.

These reviews are incredibly helpful!

I'm just waiting for oleds to be affordable.

It's crazy how overpriced these gaming monitors are in Europe
Some examples:
MSI G274QPF-QD 330$ (307€) the lowest price in Europe is around 400€ (372$)
MSI MAG274QRF-QD 350$ (327€) I can only find it for about 500€ (465$)

Bought twin LG GN850-B 2.5 years ago and they run beautifully. They were a little overpriced then, but they have aged well and their colors matched perfectly out of the box. Glad to see they are down to $275 now, but I don't regret being them early.

If you purchased the MSI MAG274QRF-QD, be sure to upgrade the firmware to enable sRGB. Additionally, use the RTINGS colour profile for the most accurate settings and to tackle oversaturation issues.

Have you ever considered reviewing TVs? You've easily got the best and most informative format for screen reviews. I've recently been surprised at just how hard it is to find the same info on TVs

I know you're already swimming in categories, but it would be nice to see 1440p contain both a 27" option and a 32" option. While the 27" category seems to have the technically best monitors, I'm currently using a 32" 1440p and don't think I could take the size downgrade to 27" for my next monitor, and also don't want to move up to 4K. So for people like me, it would be great to know what the best 32" 1440p is.

It seems that you guys rarely review Acer monitors but they seem to have great cost performance compared to other brand at least on paper.
Can you guys do more Acer monitor reviews? Also, I would like to know more about the panel name of each monitor so I can shop by panel name instead, that way I can find the same panel with the lowest price.

I'm still rocking the AOC 24G1 but thinking about 1440p, these guides are really informative and helpful, many thanks 👍

Got a 42" LG C2 oled tv last year for my desktop monitor. Will never go back, the oled is beautiful. Have a recliner in my office to kick back in and watch tv on this as well. 10/10 would buy again. My desk is a corner desk and the LG is on a wall mount so I can have it pushed back furthest while pc'ing and pull out a foot or so when barcolounging.

Seems like going for the PG279QM almost a year ago wasn't such a bad idea. It's gonna last me quite a while. Maybe in 3-4 years time some 360hz 1440p OLED monitors are more reasonable priced than current 240z 1440p ones and aren't as prone to burn-in etc.

I bought a C2 42” OLED, and honestly, it’s been the best purchase I’ve made for my setup in a very long time.
It’s definitely not a good monitor for competitive play, but for immersion and singleplayer, it’s been a real joy.

22:38 I've been using the AW3423DW for 8 months, and this motion clarity on a 1080p non-OLED is still astounding.

LG C2 hands down, I work as a writer and I have 0 issue with text clarity I just followed TFT's guide on setup and have been running it for 4 months with 0 issues. Given the ABL issue, I frankly wouldn't notice it, the only reason I noticed it is because I read about it, otherwise it's a non-issue. Plus for 100$ less than the Neo G7 You really can't go wrong at least here in Canada.

Bought the M32Q last february after seeing it featured in one of your lists and I have to say with the value and quality I’ve got out of it I’m glad I did. While I won’t be looking for a replacement for a while I’ll definitely be coming back to your lists when it’s time to do so. Also bring back the larger size categories for non ultrawides for us space/flight sim folk and anyone else that likes the vertical fov.

I just bought the Acer Predator XB283K because none of the other options were at a decent price, this monitor is pretty great and I was wondering why you never show it. there was another reviewer I watched who tested the Gigabyte M32U as well and said the acer predator is significantly brighter and the gigabyte mainly won in the as close to non ghosting department which the Acer has hardly any ghosting still. In my use I believe he said it gets about 530 to 550 nits of brightness and I believe it! this monitor is way brighter than the Gigabyte M27Q I upgraded from and the colors are fantastic! it has 10-bit color which I know some of the monitors in these videos do not have as well. If anyone has looked at the Acer predator and are curious about it just know that I have purchased it and currently really enjoy it.

It should be noted that the PG27AQN now has ULMB 2 with a firmware update for this monitor. Happens to be the currently available of 2 monitors that have it right away.

For anyone considering the Neo G7, keep in mind that Samsung has terrible QC. I recently got a Neo G7 and it had so many issues that I RMA'd it and got a different monitor. My Neo G7 had:

1. Scanlines. In previous videos, HUB saw scanlines on the G8 but not the G7, but I had scanlines on my G7 @ 165 Hz

2. VRR Flickering. When using G-SYNC with HDR enabled, I had seizure-inducing backlight flickering. It was extremely noticeable. There's a "VRR Control" OSD setting that is supposed to fix this, and it does reduce the flickering, but it introduces terrible microstuttering and input lag.

3. Matte display coating was significantly worse than my cheaper 1440p monitor

I'd seriously rethink the Neo G7 recommendation. If you still want to get one, prepare to RMA it multiple times - but some of these problems seem inherent to the panel they're using and will likely never be fixed by firmware updates.

Can we automatically disqualify any monitors that only have the stupid ‘mini’ ports on them.
