No one has been more dominant in men's college basketball than Zach Edey. But will his game translate to the NBA? #purdue #purdueuniversity #ncaa #zachedey #canadabasketball #nba #nbashorts #shorts #basketball

Thankfully he will have all the support he needs with the Grizzlies and he will be ROTY this year

This may be fairly accurate but lets admit he has alot of upside and is very coachable and theres no reason to say he can't expand his shooting range his shooting form is not bad. Converting more of that mass to muscle might slim him down to a solid 280 and make him alil faster.

If you’re 7 foot you have a 1 in 6 chance of making the NBA, 1 in 6! That’s crazy, you can’t teach size Edey could be a great reserve

He may be a defensive liability in the NBA.

But I think the entire NBA, even Wemby, will be a defensive liability trying to guard him.

Do you guys remember Rookie Yao Ming vs DOPY Shawn Bradley?

Hopefully he has a nice long career even if he’s just a reserve I think he’s earnt it would’ve been a great backup C for those Warrior teams with Durant 😂

He's better than Boban so I can say he'll stick a bit

No, he’s slow, walks or fouls every time he gets the ball and stays in the paint for 8 seconds minimum. Good college player that got the whistle, but not an NBA player. Especially with no shot outside of 8 feet

I could see like the next zydrunas ilgauskas kinda role .

You have no F’ing clue what you’re talking about. He’s faster than Clingan and half the bigs in the league. He didn’t attack defensively bc he had to save fouls to play the whole game.

Youre only saying that bc you are regurgitating what others have told you. You gotta what him play.

If Rudy Gobert can play, then I’m sure this kid can.
Focus on what you’re good at it. Set picks, protect the rim, catch lobs.
Work on your playmaking. If he can do that then he should play a few years

His fundamentals and agility are big gaps. He can be a defensive liability. He'll be drafted, but it won't last long.
