Centipede Bite in Greece!

I got bit by a centipede that was as long as my hand 🦠

It stung, but considering there are around 8000 species in the world, many of which are poisonous... I got lucky.

What do you think of my method of cooling down the bite?

Hours later, we learned our flight back home got cancelled.

Lucky for us, we know how to make lemonade. So for now, we're just rolling with the lemons and treating every moment as an adventure.

Centipedes have antennae on their heads. They also have two modified front legs that they use for biting and injecting their prey with poison. Likely the centipede saw your hand and thought the hand was a mouse, rat, or spider all of which are on the centipede's menu.
