I agree. I used to subscribe to Total Guitar. My subscription ran out just before the mag changed. I've bought a few since but it's become just like all other guitar magazines, boring. I used to love the lessons and accurate tabs of songs I like. I don't know if they don't want to pay copywrite but it's not worth the cover price. Just watch these videos on YouTube. Now I just watch martyzsongs or the like to learn songs. Shame. I've kept my old issues of TG to learn songs from.
