fyi you can just close steam right click steam from windows bar and open it as admin from there ...

Hey hey I had a not lauching problem, it would only show up in task manager. I turned on my one drive and it worked for me. If you have your one drive syncing your documents folder. (Which is where your save games go.). It fixed a lot of the games I tryed playing, watch dogs2, terria. the files just wernt synced or on your pc since one drive holds them. if this helps let me know.
Man I thaught I was gonna have to reset the whole system, or go to window 10 since that might be the problem. I usually turn of things running in the tray so it slips my mindall the time when gaming.

it worked when i added to run as administrator the part with the windows 8 it instantly says the game to me that does not support that but all the rest the video said it helped me fix it!

None of these so-called steps worked for me! In the end my issue was solved by disabling the Steam Overlay while in game and uninstalling FPSMonitor! This made the game work flawless for me. My Hardware is an Asus Tuff Dash F15 (2022) Laptop.
