Yeah this is a technique ult players like to us, fatality uses it to edgeguard, it's called a ledge slip. In melee you don't have to crouch to do it though. Falcon and ganon could def use this for edguarding!

This could be really cool for setting up quick wall jumps without using your double jump on a couple stages. Idk if that would actually be useful but it would look sick

I think if you do certain aerials and they both come out and hit on frame one, you can land back on stage if you're holding in. Falco dair is a great example

prety sure i've seen zain do this a few times... i do something dumber but with pretty much the same result... you can edgecancel jumpsquat and just slide off with no momentum...
