As a poor collector, who can’t afford the secondary market value for things I’ve missed along the very much appreciate the reissues, so I can finally obtain the item at a more affordable price.

Cant believe he's knocking reissues. So many figures I'll never be able to have unless they rerelease them. It's a blessing in my opinion. Maybe some people have the coin to be dropping $1, 000 on a collectible, but most of us don't.

I don’t have an issue with companies reissuing past figures. It’s helps people out who potentially missed it first time around. Secondly it’s stops scalpers online.

I'm a collector 1/6 scale and I'm happy for re issues, it help people who are late to the game and puts a stop to the eBay piss takers, a true collector gets immense pleasure out of their collection it's like having small pieces of art, people stop paying ridiculous prices and watch what prices fall 😱 that's right folks our collectables are only worth what people are willing to pay it's not rocket science, so just collect because you love it and if it turns out to be an investment then bonus 😁😎

I like the reissues. I very rarely sell, And this helps regulate the prices for pieces I miss out on.

I'm not a seller aka flipper of toys, I buy/collect things that I wanna own and keep for myself. So when reissues come out of things I've missed, I love it. I refuse to pay flipper stupid rip off money for things I want... Reissues Rule 👍😁

I buy what I want, not to make a profit. Re-issues are good for everyone except scalpers.

Speaking of reissues, that Mark 47 reissue was the equivalent of Thanos snapping at the end of IW and turning everyone to dust lol. Every scalper got dusted by Hot Toys last week.

I don't buy for investing, as that's silly compared to actual investment options, but I dread all the pleather on my HT/sideshow stuff disintegrating

Actually my worst nightmare are the scalpers who by all the exclusive figures so I can’t find any. Just to see secondary market booming. I hope all companies keep reissuing forever!

My fear is "if I dont get it now will I be able to get it later?" I never really cared for resale of my collectibles. I just pray and hope that I can get mine for at least retail. Which sites like bbts makes so much easier. Honestly I have no problem with reissues. Because when i got back into collecting as an official hobby I had some serious catching up to do with a few lines. Mainly necca predators. Necca is so doing the reissue game better. Because their making them ultimate editions. With more articulation and accessories. On the back side. My biggest fear is seeing that pre order arrival notice..

I collect with the intention of keeping and not selling. So value is secondary and is not something I usually think about. Although, I do have some custom pieces in my collection that are grail pieces that are worth a lot more than what I originally paid for like my Creepshow Fluffy by Beto. Great topic and video!

This does remind me of a comment I saw on another post - 'These items are made of plastic so they have no intrinsic value. Collect what you like and never pay more than retail.' That said love your videos Jedha - keep making them 🙌😊

Not to be the d bag, but the worst nightmare is someone stealing your collection, your house and colletion burning up in a fire, a flood, or some other catastrophic disaster. Re-issues to me are just a big bummer. Sucks for sure. But worst nightmare? I call Shenanigans. lol Great video dude
