TEKNOFEST is Turkey's first and only aerospace and technology festival organized with the partnership of many organizations that play a critical part in the development of national technology in Turkey.
TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, the first of which was held in 2018; By hosting many activities such as technology competitions, air shows, concerts, interviews, and events on various topics, it aims to increase the interest in technology in society and to raise awareness about Turkey's transformation into a society that produces and develops technology. Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, technology competitions in various disciplines and categories are organized for hundreds of thousands of young people to realize their dreams.
While a total of 4,333 teams and 20,000 young people applied to the technology competitions held in 14 different categories at the festival held at Istanbul Airport in 2018, 17,373 teams and 50,000 competitors from 81 provinces and 122 countries applied to the technology competitions held in 19 different categories at TEKNOFEST 2019, held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. 20,197 teams and 100,000 young people from 81 provinces and 84 countries applied to the technology competitions held in 21 different categories within the scope of TEKNOFEST, which was hosted by Gaziantep Middle East Fair Center in 2020. Within the scope of the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which was held for the fourth time in 2021 at Atatürk Airport, 44,912 teams and 200,000 competitors from 81 provinces and 111 countries applied to the technology competitions held in 35 different categories. 40 different technology competitions were held on the focus areas of the future within the scope of TEKNOFEST Black Sea, which was held in the Black Sea Region in 2022, centered on Samsun Çarşamba Airport. More than 154,000 teams and more than 600,000 competitors from 81 provinces, 107 countries applied to these competitions. In the same year, 10 different technology competitions were held at TEKNOFEST, which was held abroad for the first time in Azerbaijan, Baku Crystal Hall by crossing the borders of the country, and applications from 1,010 teams and 5,636 competitors were received for these competitions.
TEKNOFEST 2023, which will be held in the 100th anniversary of our Republic, will be held at İzmir, Ankara and İstanbul.
TEKNOFEST continues its journey of National Technology Initiative with confident steps, inspired by its past.
