I would like to make a simple comment just to mention that the Mueller Kueps clip lifter kit (5pcs and 3pcs long) tools are very nice. Mueller also sells a fuse plier that works well for certain small head trim clips as well. I'd like to test those Steck pliers. They look very nice. Frankly to do almost perfect work for clips, you'd probably have to invest in several tools for trim!

I also like the miniature Stahlwille lever bar with the green handle. It has a little "spoon" tip and SUPER thin and seems very strong. Really helpful for damage free removal and or starting of extremely tight low tolerance interior trim pieces. Scuffing these tight tolerance high dollar european cars pieces can start to feel a little shabby, mistakes happen and some marring is unavoidable.

Hot tip - A small piece of sticky tape or dumdum (butyl tape) works well to start screw bolt covers (door panels, etc) where there's basically absolutely no way to remove the plug cover without scuffing or wedging the piece out. It's fun to try to make it look like you were never there when doing these types of repairs. We've all seen dozens of "whatever screwdriver was available" to remove the trim cover. And sometimes that's the best solution!

Best regards

Thanks for demonstrating. I just bought one, didn't know how to use it, so I found your video. Going to use it to remove clips for my Volvo A/C repair.

I have every tool in your vid except for the long orange handle one. I like the Steck pliers and Dent Fix also has a great plier tool for clip removal. If you put the fasteners in a cup of hot water they will go back in the holes very easy.

Good info because those christmas tree clips are a real pain.

The price even decent in Canada, not 4x as much as the US, thanks

How about metal u-shaped spring clips, the types which dig into the plastic. Somehow the metal pin(sort of) must be retracted or entire clip somehow spread very wide to release the grip. Would love to know how others do it.
