Lohre Farm is located just east of Crown, Minnesota. Sarah and I purchased our homestead in 2017 and have grown from a small garden to a few acres of sustainable food growth. With the help of our Children, we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.

There are many animals on Lohre Farm, and with there help we can improve our soil health, all while producing farm fresh food to eat. We have chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. All of these animals assist in making our property more valuable and enjoyable.

We Believe God provides us with all of the natural resources needed for a wholesome life.

They lo is used like when tiller attachment to slow down or to push n drag. Its actually good feature pulln hard loads too.alot of guys search for them for that option.keeps tractor from bogging out under load in lo. You have a good deal there they sell for 600.00 with wear or teeth missing or up to 1000.00 takes about 3 shims to space the gear lash depending on wear when installed. Holler at me you ever split to put clutch n dont want it. Intermediate shaft is installed in the dead space of bell housing when tractors are standard and no auxlliary installed .

Maybe somebody took that Sherman transmission out to put on another tractor.

Also could be hupp hi lo thry both lever that side. Depends if dealer installed it or farmer or mech. Handle was made either broke n welded .dealer would have been pinch bolt lever . Some cut hole with torch n some drilled clean hole when installed.

It's a real pain that those tractors don't have an independent PTO. They are transmission driven.
That's why you need the overrunning clutch on your PTO shaft.
Personally I love a two-stage clutch.
Independent clutches are nice also for some things.

Probably not a Howard’s as they have the lever in the back. HOWEVER, you are extraordinarily blessed in that there is an inspection cover on the side that is held in place by only 1 bolt! Take the cover off and visualize the actual component. Take a photo of the actual gear reduction and post that, you should get an answer. Chances are high a previous owner with mad ninja machining skills adapted a reduction gearbox from another tractor to fit. I’ve seen Laycock De’Normanville overdrives fitted to cars by highly motivated owners. You’ve got a 4” window into the soul, be thankful

I bet it's a Sherman hi or low transmission that someone added at a later date. Most are on the left of the transmission, but maybe someone wanted it on the right for some reason?
