Your moss removal "rambling" made perfect sense. There is so much focus on buying, we all sometimes forget what got us into this in the first place. We love growing plants and the process of caring for them. I have a short list of maybe 6 specific plants I want for 2025. Slowing down and enjoying what you have will ultimately make your plants better. Love your videos!!

I love the voiceovers instead of music! I love to watch your videos while I’m doing chores. It feels like I’m on FaceTime lol

Yay she’s back! Hope you had a good rest 💚 Videos like these is what I’m here for. Really enjoyed the different takes and your creativity in editing. Thank you Fern! I wish you an amazing 2025! ✨💕

I love that you seem to really consider comments! Not really thinking of if you managing to read all of them or not, that must be rather draining to keep up with. But that you seem so open to try different perspectives and it is soooo nice and we can then all learn from it, even if we missed the comments. You are an amazing person Fern.

As for projects, I'd like to see a re-visit of the begonia terrarium project. I love the idea and have followed both you and Miro in your attempts but would still like to see more. I like planty set-uts that are somewhat self sustaining. Because you know, Life.

Your comments about staying committed to mundane tasks in order to see results is so true. While I enjoy adventure and new things I also revel in the "boring" hobby of plant care - there is always a larger goal behind all the day-to-day activities.

Loved your vlog, Fern❤. I 200% agree with enjoying my existing plants instead of buying new ones constantly. It brings such an overwhelm in. But look, if I see every new leaf as a new purchase, that gives me excitement and dopamine rush without driving me crazy with numbers of plants that I don't take good care of. So I actually had been sticking to that for more about half a year, and have been actually very happy enjoying and being able to manage my current collection. But to be honest with you, YouTube is the culprit of wanting to buy more in many instances. We are human, most of us want what others have 😂.

I like how you’re always super surprised when we mention Hoya related content or when you realize you have so many/they’re always in your top favorite plants😂 you’re literally the reason why so many of us fell in love with Hoyas in the first place❤️✨❤️✨

You mentioned plant care being repetitive - but I think since plants are constantly changing it's never exactly the same 🌿💕

Woohoo such a long vlog. I love how you tend to be more methodical. You’re so gentle and slow working with your plants, so watching your vids is so therapeutic. 🌿

I love the plant pot browsing and shopping. Hope you do more of that in 2025 & share it with us 😉🤑

I personally enjoy the mundane content. It feels more real. I also love seeing you make food, drinks, and paint your nails. Again, it is very real and relatable content.

Fern your conversation while you were working on the moss removal was so smart and very sensible!!! Slower pace and enjoying what you have is on target. I love watching you clean shelves because I get a glimpse of each plant. I’m glad you pointed out the succulent that is about to bloom. Also watching repotting is so relaxing and enjoyable. Love your channel!!! You are such a bright spot to your viewers day ❤❤❤

So grateful for you sharing the “mundane” plant tasks! Those tasks are (as you said) so important, it’s inspiring and meditative to see you going through these tasks! Not boring at all!

Eeek I’m literally so excited for all of the content ideas you mentioned! I would love to see chatty repots, walk through updates, planty projects (pingdom!!), Hoya themed videos, begonias, collection videos (especially hanging plants, funky/unique/weird plants, flowering plants), styling, favorites, hauls/decluttering themed! 🫶🫶🌱

First of all, welcome back and happy new year Fern! Glad you were able to relax and take some time off for yourself. And nice to see you again! I can only agree with some of the comments - I really love your planty vlog videos (cuz I'm also a follower of your vlog channel) and it's nice to see that you're listening to your inner self. We should value what we own much more. We don't need a lot of things, let's be honest with ourselves. if you're feeling overwhelmed, getting rid of some plants is just the thing. This doesn't just apply to plants either. You simply feel better when you get rid of “burden”. A few years ago I really cleaned out. When I buy something now, I put it on a wish list and leave it there for a few months. I write down a tally every time I thought of this wish. When I really have a lot of strokes together, I'll actually buy it. This way I make sure it's not just an impulse buy. Let's be honest, there's a lot we probably wouldn't miss if it were gone. I really like the minimalist approach. It was really good for me at the time to sort out so many things. I try to sell everything I no longer need. So that it stays in circulation and doesn't have to be thrown away. There is already so much garbage in our world... Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us :)
