It's hard not to watch this and not just feel a bit tense about the concentration taking place. That tension is in the music, but if you put yourself there as trying to do it, it's even rougher. A part of me can easily imagine a musician just running out of the room muttering "I can't take it.... anymore...." during a rehearsal. Congratulations on this well deserved milestone, may it be just one more of many on your musical journey.

The band Boris have made use of this! the first track on the album Flood uses tape delay to double track a loop, then phases one track out of sync with the other, when they loop back up, it leads into the next track. Really cool technique.

I love how many different melodies you can hear if you just start listening from a different perspective. Kind of like looking at a drawing of a transparent cube and flipping the perspective in your head.

I knew a guy in college, back in the late 80s who could play pure phase music, solo. He would sit between two pianos, and play the same riff on both of them, playing slightly faster with one hand than the other. It was absolutely intense.
