I’ve had this in Bhutan, And oh man! Bomb flavours to go with steamed rice. Every restaurant has their own way of making it in Bhutan but every other place is worth ordering for.

You can also use milk instead of cheese if u don't have cheese..
Pour milk instead of cheese..let it thicken..it's consistency would be like cheese...

I live near Bhutan. So I eat it most of the times and there are many varieties of Datshi. I personally like the mushroom Datshi . According to me you have to add a little milk. Still the way you made was also good 👍🏻. I love your videos 🥰🥰

You can try potato datsi with only a bit of chilli if u can’t handle the heat.

Well i add potatoes and daikon (ofc boiled )
And instead of green chillies i use dalle

mans if u add potato it's kewa datshi.
if u add mushroom it's mushroom datshi. you can add any vegetable but same recipe. it taste awesome.
