I wholeheartedly believe in gathering money with the specific on helping the poor. That was the reason for the tithe period. Not for million dallors homes cars and jets

Amen
The storehouse is not the preachers houses, pockets and bank accounts.
It is not to pay their rent, their water and their electricity.
It is to help the poor both in the church and out of the church.
So keep an eye on what your church does with what you give.
It is to be "stored up" to help ones in need.
We don't have to tithe to a church, we can joyfully and voluntarily give to any in need

Over and over again, I hear the Holy Spirit instruct me to give to the poor. In fact God's judgement shall dwell much on what we did to others during our life time.

It's not about what's good enough for you it's about abiding by the word of God, because he has standards we must live and abide by in his word!

Give to your church to pay the utilities, but mainly to support the poor! Your minister should hold a job outside the church to maintain his own family!

Jesus Christ, ' When you give to the poor, you have given to me . '

I thought Malachi was talking to the priest and not the poor people.😊

So should gentile Christians be circumcised too? Didn't Paul clarify that the gentiles were no longer under the law? Wasn't the tithing a Levites practice only??

No. You are not cursed if you don't pay tithes. Paying tithes is where you are in Christ and your faith❤. I tithe 1/10 "the Promise"...'I will pour out a blessing that there shall not be room to receive;' And "I will rebuke the devourer'' - Malachi 3:8. However (tithing was first fruits); if you choose between paying your mortgage and paying your tithe; which would you do? Faith is not paying tithes only when it's convenient; your faith should have virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience and godliness; brotherly kindness charity (love❤) 2 Peter 1: The church needs the mortgage paid...lights, heat/air conditioning ...
Leviticus 27:30; Laws regarding Tithing Deuteronomy 14:22; Help for the poor man, Deuteronomy 15:7-11. May the joy of the Lord be your strength, thank you for sharing 🙏🏽❤.
