The ending chat feels so sacred. I feel like your vulnerability is what sets you apart from other creators. I dont know, i just keep hearing the phrase “someones gotta do it” and im glad you chose to be that one. Thanks for opening your heart

"I wonder why time has to run out when I have found the right words to say". Gosh, that hit me like a train. Your poetry is so profound and I completely hear what you're saying. It's bittersweet when we finally become these loving, understanding adults that have the skills to heal past traumas but those that we want to heal with can't heal with us.

21:07 “I wonder why time has to run out right when I have found the right words to say” this line brought me to tears. I empathize with this sm having lost my dad so early on and not being able to talk to him about all the trauma tht was caused. It’s such a heartbreaking thing to feel this and mastering the art of surrender isnt an easy journey. Thank you sm for sharing your beautiful words and letting us be a witness to your soul ✨ I wish you more healing. ♥️

You're not being "extra" at all!! You describe the human experience so beautifully, in a way that I relate so closely to, and I admire your ability to put it into words.
Men have 3+ hour podcasts on their half baked/adapted philosphies - you don't have to preface your musings on the world. Your voice is vital to the community and you are entitled to share your art with them!

XXX Big love from Naarm (Melbourne)

Typewriting outside in the rain is as romantic as it gets. This whole video is such a vibe and helped me stay calm on a rough day. Thank you Hitomi❤️

There is actually some scientific evidence that "savoring" certain experiences can elevate dopamine levels and reduce depression - it's actually super healthy. I think this idea of romanticizing only seems a bit problematic because of the word we use to describe it. There is a big difference between dissociating/fantasizing and savoring - it definitely sounds like your idea of romanticizing falls into the latter!

Really enjoying the reflection at 19:05 Hitomi, just being able to witness yourself in whatever may come up and allowing it to pass, tapping into that inner knowing that you'll be okay, this is truly so wise and beautiful to see 💖

The same happened with my mum, she forgot everything and became so extra sweet and had an appreciation for me. I was told that despite this I should speak my truth to her, so both she and I can clear it ready for her to move on. I never did, so I have been releasing this since. ❤ I would love to get a typewriter. Thank you for all your reminders x

I love how you show up. Keep romanticizing life, I am here for it. And now you can do it from a place of healing verses when you were doing it for survival. I enjoy doing it as well and love the beauty of the simple things that we can romanticize.

how boring life would be if we didn't romanticise every moment to the fullest. it doesn't make you out of touch with reality, quite the opposite!! you endlessly inspire me to find joy and sacredness and ease in the simplest of pleasures

It took me a while to acknowledge that the reason why I sometimes had violent or agressive thoughts would be because I felt angry all the time. I used to feel angry because of the suffering I had endured and the feeling of unfairness. But today I mostly consider myself lucky because I have a depth of experience and an outlook on life that not everybody has.
