There's no doubt they do a full background check on these kinds of acts before they're allowed to audition on the show, for if not, they're fools to let anyone do a stunt like this on a judge, for I'm sure they wouldn't let Simon go onstage otherwise.
The production team for this show likely forewarns these judges of these professionals and what they're going to do before someone like this comes on to audition. Shows like AGT and BGT are entertainment and for the show's ratings.

Why are all the judges acting so damn surprised when they knew before what's going to happen? No way that Simon wasn't aware either by practicing or knowing before hand what the act is and what he's submitting himself to. Also how can you be so naive and act surprised at something that even a toddler can figure out, the box has further metal walls inside for protecting his head, the fire just burns outside of those walls but the fire is so bright you can't see the core, which is still metal. Come on BGT, you're better than this fake reactions to silly tricks.
