Obama is scared, or at the very least nervous. HE understands about crowd sizes. He tried to downplay that in his speech, but as someone who had the experience of drawing large crowds of adoring fans, he is well aware of what the difference between the crowds Trump is drawing and the AI-enhanced crowds that Harris is paying to come and hear her speak means when it comes to voters. The Barack Obama that spoke at the DNC convention is not the orator of the past. This Obama has the intensity in his eyes of a nervous wild animal in fight or flight mode, and you can see the tension in his face and throat. His tone isn't the relaxed, confident tone he's had when he's given speeches in the past to his own adoring crowds. He's working very hard to project confidence, but it's a lot of work for him. Whatever everyone in the media is saying, the Dems are scared, and Obama's affect is the proof of that.
