Most of those cutscenes were made before daisy was a reoccurring character in the mario series, and if they were made after she reappeared, it would most likly be for a remake.

Actually before daisy was created the both the bros had a crush on peach, and in diasy's first appearance in manga she kisses him to prove him fhat she loves him, but in mario golf/tennis (i forgot lol) the princesses were fighting for mario, so years later daisy was sick or loving someone that another already took him, so she went for luigi.
