Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Are you all good?
Are you alright?
I’m in your neighbourhood
For your darkest times

Are you all good?
Are you alright?
I’m in your neighbourhood
For your darkest times

Are you all good?
Are you alright?
I’m in your neighbourhood
For your darkest times

Are you all good?
Are you alright?
I’m in your neighbourhood
For your darkest times

[Chorus]
Are you all good?
Tell me how you’re feeling
Are you alright?
Now we’re all alone
I’m in your neighbourhood
I want to whisper you something
For your darkest times
That you already know

Are you all good?
Tell me how you’re feeling
Are you alright?
Now we’re all alone
I’m in your neighbourhood
I want to whisper you something
For your darkest times
That you already know

[Verse 2]
When all you want
Is to disappear
Searching for wisdom
But nothings clear
What will become of me
If you’re not here
I know life is a mental place
Where there’s always fear

[Bridge]
Are you all good?
Tell me how you’re feeling
Now we’re all alone
I want to whisper you something
That you already know

Are you all good?
Tell me how you’re feeling
Now we’re all alone
I want to whisper you something
That you already know
Are you all good?

[Chorus]
Tell me how you’re feeling
Are you alright?
Now we’re all alone
I’m in your neighbourhood
I want to whisper you something
For your darkest times
That you already know

Are you all good?
Tell me how you’re feeling
Are you alright?
Now we’re all alone
I’m in your neighbourhood
I want to whisper you something
For your darkest times
That you already know

Are You All Good?

This hits different for me. A year ago, Christmas night, I got a call from my best friend Boone. He was sobbing
not crying, S o b b i n g.
He rambled for a bit and I just told him I was picking him up. I drove out, keeping him on speaker phone the whole time and picked him up just off the onramp to a major bridge in our city. His face was red from crying, but I didn't mention it.

He had tried to kill himself that night, told me he stood on the outside of the guardrail for 20 minutes before climbing back over to call me, saying he originally called me to say goodbye.
We drove for hours, just circling our city and talking, I tried not to bring it up but it eventually boiled down to real-talk, him questioning his life. I convinced him to get help, told him I loved him and that he IS of value to everyone he interacts with.

Please, if you think one of your friends, loved ones, or even someone you know of is struggling, reach out to them.

Edit: Boone is now living happily with his Girlfriend of 6 months, and calls me every day to chat.

I had to watch this video a second time for it to hit me the way I feel it was intended. During the first watch, I thought it was simply a cool aesthetic video to match the song's vibe. Which it was BUT, it wasn't until the second time watching when I realized it was something much deeper than that. The video is actually about a guy coming to help his friend clear his mind through a dark or stressful moment in his life. If you notice at the beginning the guy who is being picked up comes out with a duffel bag of some sort. Maybe he was being kicked out of some place or had an argument with who he lives with. He gets in the car and they give each other a "it's gonna be alright" type hug. Then they begin cruising through the city without talking for a bit, all while the friend in the passenger seat looks to be in a troubled and stressful state of mind. It isn't until the driver reaches to lower the volume that he asks alongside the song lyrics, "Are you all good? Are you alright?". It then cuts to the guy in the passenger open up and start to talk (vent). They ride around and even go to a view on a hill to help clear his mind and "breath." As the video goes on you see the passenger showing more signs of energy and happiness. The lyrics "I'm in your neighborhood for your darkest times" means almost exactly how it sounds. It refers to being there for someone during their dark times. Some people may have seen this and thought the way they interacted was "gay" but that's not at all the case. This video showcases what it's like to be a true friend to someone in a time of need. The video didn't seem to require a huge budget and yet the concept managed to create something so damn powerful. I just discovered this band today and "breathe." has earned my respect for life. This is ART. Thank you for sharing this masterpiece.

I just heard this today in a tv show called “Apple never falls”. It fits perfectly in the show. This song is so dark and haunting. I ❤ it.

I love how this shows that men can have emotions too. media is filled with photos of friendship between girls or girls showing emotions, which probably also makes men feel that to show emotion is emasculating. They have to repress their emotions and its horrible. That leads to my second point. Sexism isn't just against women, men go through it too just in a more subtle way

Slick, elegant, yet raw and down to earth; the music and visuals come together so well to create a complete artscape. This is exceptional work.
