You should get an Oscar for that 'Circle of Life' performance :) I swear that was the best 15 seconds of my life!

Aladdin has to be on this list.

That was colourful, the songs were memorable and of course it had the late Robin Williams as the most energetic character in the entire film

The EXACT moment you sang "Naats", I knew the film you were going to be talking about!

Hans Zimmer's score 😍😍😍 I saw him live, and he and his orchestra (and Lebo M!) did "Nants Ingonyama" and, my personal favourite, "King of Pride Rock." It was *amazing.* "The Lion King" is my favourite film (followed by HTTYD); the story, the themes, Simba's character arc, the Shakespearean elements and, of course, the breathtakingly beautiful animation, and astounding music - especially the score! Sure, it has a few problems, but eh. It's awesome.

One of my all time favorite memories came courtesy of the Lion King.

I was born in 1996 so it was already on tape by the time I was old enough to fully enjoy Disney movies. When I was in first grade I got a request from my Dad. He told me my twin sister and me to put on our shoes and socks because the second Mom got off work we were going somewhere. No questions asked we obeyed and like he said, once Mom came home and got changed out of her scrubs we were out the door. This was a strange moment because normally we’d NEVER go out on a school night unless it was in town but we were leaving town that night and, it was indeed a school night. Finally we asked our parents what was up and my Mom asked if we knew what IMAX was and told us we were going to Nashville (which at the time was the closest IMAX theater to us at about 2 hours) to see The Lion King! It was truly an unforgettable experience for me. It’s too bad both my parents totally forgot about it but I’ll always remember the night we went out of town on a school night to see the Lion King. Because that was when I learned how cool my parents really were.

The Lion King is an amazing, awesome movie. Loved the first 15 minutes of you singing Circle of Life, you should DEFINITELY win an Oscar for that little performance! I'm personally surprised that you've put The Lion King this low on the list, though, but at least, you've justified your reasons well.

I swear to God: that opening is one of the best and funniest openings I've ever seen. I just crack up at it every time! It's just so perfect!!

The main difference between Frozen and The Lion King though is that most people are only singing "let it go" while with the Lion King people were singing all the songs.

my personal favorite? here-The Lion King. This movie really is the full definition of my childhood, and is the single biggest reason why I love animation so much. It's because I watched it all the time as a kid, but then I just...stopped watching it until it went in theaters in 2011. That's when I saw it again on the big screen, and suddenly I saw something different about the movie-I saw everything spectacular about the movie, from the animation to the tone of the songs to the purpose of the characters. Seeing it in theaters made me remember why I loved it so much, even to this day-no matter how many times I've seen this, even if every single scene and bit of dialogue is in my head, I still get major enjoyment out of seeing it, whether by myself or with friends and family.

In a way I think the Lion King and How to Train your Dragon 2 has very similr ideas and themes as well in terms of being the next leader for your people.
