The reason why Trough the Fire & Flames is so difficult is because Dragonforce has two lead guitarists in their band playing at the same time, so Guitar Hero had to put twice as many notes on the track. (EDIT: reworded to be better explained)

Apparently someone has forgotten that there's a password that can take the player directly to the Mr. Dream (Mike Tyson) fight.

I'll never forget the first and only time I ever legitimately made it to the end of "Through The Fire and Flames" on expert without failing. The intro was always the hardest part for me

Jinpachi's description killed me
"Astoundingly bearded .. muscular Santa"

On number 6:
The "best" part about Absolute Radiance is that you have to go through the Pantheon of Hallownest to even start the fight. In other words: you first have to spend 30-40 minutes defeating every other boss in the game, some of whom got additional gimmicks such as absent floor (Markoth), spikes on the arena (No Eyes) or having an additional opponent during the fight (Sisters of Battle). Then you have to fight Nightmare King Grimm _and_ Pure Vessel, strong contenders for the "most fatal boss in the game" title in their own right, back-to-back. _Then_ you get into the Radiance fight. You die along the way? You have to start over. You die to Absolute Radiance? You get to practice the fight, but to defeat it "for real" you have to start over. You beat Absolute Radiance and don't like the ending? Well... you can improve it by doing the (in)famous Flower Quest again, from the grave to Godseeker. After which you have to go through the Pantheon of Hallownest again, yep.

I take a huge amount of pride in being able to say: my big brother can beat Through The Fire And Flames.
I certainly can't. But he totally did

Alpha Weltall from Xenogears certainly fits this kind of list.

Granted, it's a story battle that the player is supposed to lose, but it's winnable. You have to form a specific party with exactly the right equipment and use a very precise strategy and even then, there's still an element of luck to it.

But it's worth it for the insane EXP and item for beating this boss.

They forgot to mention that if you don't take out the Ashens Idols before the Fume Knight fight when he's low health they will heal him. Also if you put on Velstadt's Helm he will immediately enter phase 2 at the start of the fight. Also also using both the NPC summons will boost his health, and that they do low damage dying very quickly.

Cthun from wow wasn't "almost impossible" to beat, he was literally impossible to defeat even with all the best gear during that time until that patch came out.

The one time I played through FreeBird in Guitar Hero 2 on easy, I almost failed on the solo. It was the only part in the end that I was in the red on with less then 20%. After hearing what players have gone through with TTFATF, I'm like "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!"

I almost broke my hand trying to beat story mode with every character in tekken 5. Jinpachi was so rage inducing that I punched the tile floor in my room. I rolled so much on the floor cursing whoever created jinpachi as a boss

I didn’t recognize the boss in the thumb nail, but it looked like a Souls boss. It seemed odd, since I’ve played and beaten all of the games. When we got to the entry, I realized that I had blocked the memory. Now I need to repress that memory again.

26.6 notes per second for TTFATF is crazy, still one of my all time favorite gaming moments is beating the song for the first time

At least they actually got number 1 correct! Mushihimesama Futari is such a fun game, truly one of the best shmups ever made, but f me is the final boss hard on some difficulty settings.

I remember the first time I beat Jin Pachi...it was midnight. He was hard has balls 🤣

I am I the only one that noticed Mike Tyson’s punch out is number “2” on the list, but the number showed “9”

Ah good ol Mushihimesama Futari Black Label.
Queen Larsa was a very difficult but very fun fight

Raime/the Fume Knight was tough for sure. He wasn't unfair IMO, he just hit like freight train. Didn't know he had a 93% fail rate, but it's not a surprise. Even skipping right to phase 2, you're still in for a good beating. A worthy opponent for sure.

I’ve heard some people say Malenia is easy if you cheese her, but there are ways to cheese nearly every hard Fromsoft boss (Orphan of Kos, Isshin, and Fume Knight included). When played straight Malenia is BY FAR the hardest boss of any Souls game. It took me 5 straight hours to beat her on a solo melee bleed character. I also know two people who have beaten every other game in the souls series multiple times and they both said Malenia was BY FAR the hardest boss they had faced.

The Achilles heel to Malenia is her greatest weakness is bleeding. To make this battle a cakewalk just the katana Rivers of Blood special move Corpse Piler as it greatly increases bleed damage. That’s how I slayed her btw.
