I just buried my Mother Monday...I was in the kitchen buttering my Turkey and listening to this. The tears flew. The loss of my mom..this movie, this song, the culmination of it all. I can't describe how I feel. I guess I'm stuck in a place where hugs and kind words aren't the cure. I guess time, songs like this are the best medicine. I cried about 3 times during the movie...like they really took EVERYTHING from Shuri. Then you sit there and think about a lost you have.... it's a lot. I really felt it when she said I will burn the world and everyone in it

I had the opportunity to hear this song for the first time when I was watching in theaters. The scene, the song, the entirety of its tone and finality of the movie just make all the emotions raw....this us one of the most emotionally appeasing movies I've ever experienced, next to the first B.Panther.

The emotions of my grandmother passing, my uncle passing within a year after, it's still raw and I just felt drawn to them even more during this scene.

Chadwick you are missed. My family's love is missed...those of you who've felt as I've felt, my heart goes out to you. Let's help lift each other up.
