You said this video is probably not the best compared to other YouTubers, but truly this has been one of my favorite end of the year videos because what you’ve made is so much different than others. You have a sense of personal style that is beautiful!

You've made so many beautiful dresses! I love the trim you've added to a lot of them; it's just a lovely, elevating detail.

Big 4 patterns are annoying with their excess ease (but I will add that I find a lot of indie patterns too oversized as well). The best thing to do is to get into the habit of measuring the pattern pieces every time *before* you cut into your fabric. That way, you can adjust the pattern for your actual measurements, plus your preferred amount of ease, right at the beginning.

Cute! You have a great grasp on your personal style and you're able to match the materials and silhouettes that suit you really well. Definitely something I'm working on right now.

awesome makes! It's really helpful to see the dress on you as you're talking about them. Maybe keep those thumbnail views up for longer next time! I keep rewinding and ffwding to see how the dresses fit. Can't wait for the next video! Keep it up~

I simply adore your floral dresses! I personally avoid open backs and spaghetti straps on account of my absolute need for support in the bust area, but I love the silhouettes you make 😊
I ALWAYS put at least one pocket into any dress, skirt or trousers I make - I'd rather unpick a section of side seam than forego a pocket... 😁
I too love pure cotton. If I find a pretty bedding set in a charity shop I'll hunt inside for the label to check if it's 100% cotton. If there's any polyester in it I'll leave it behind. Natural fibres are best on so many levels. Thank you for sharing all your gorgeous makes 🙏 Happy New Year!

Love that quilt coat. Usually I don’t like them because they are typically stiff and boxy. I’m built similar to you so stiff and boxy does not work for me. But that one you made has excellent shaping.

I would wear most of your makes. I wear my dresses gardening also. I like your personal style. I love sewing videos, but don't watch too many folk as I don't follow trends. I enjoy all the quirky personalities with a twist. ❤❤❤ no need to apologise darling, you sound like you drink alot of coffee, and you a real cutey😅 ❤❤❤😘

Hi Lisa! I’m curious what size you order for your Christy Dawn dresses? I love the look of their dresses but haven’t pulled the trigger on purchasing because I’m not sure about sizing. I have very similar measurements to you: 5’5” 32” bust 25” waist 34” hips. Although I’m not considered petite in terms of height I’m all legs and arms and have a very short torso. I often find dresses are way too long in the bodice. Do you find Christy Dawn to be true-to-size? I’d love your advice! 😅❤
