24 hours in Pristina - Kosovo

I recently had the pleasure of spending 24 hours In Pristina - Kosovo - here is some of what I saw and experienced. Having had a growing response to my previous videos it's nice to know people are watching what I originally thought would be a collection of travel videos for my personal archive - if I can inspire people to visit or learn about these wonderful countries then I'm very happy. As always any questions feel free to ask below - if I can't answer the questions - I'm certain another viewer has a view or the answer judging by previous videos with their comments. Every time you want to come in Kosovo again, you're welcome. As a Kosovo citizen, I am very happy that you had a nice time and you really enjoyed Kosovo (Prishtina) trip.
I wanted to say something about the birds. We don't like birds in cages and we don't put the birds just that we like, but there was a shop when you can buy any bird in cage, because you can't get just in hand.
I hope I could say something good to you, to your opinion.

The war is over, there's religious freedom as you saw.
It's very rare to see an Albanian woman wearing a burka or hijab.

15:40 There was no one, which objected to it! Albanians are the most tolerant people, and they have open arms and respect to every religion! The most Albanians are nominal/cultural muslims, which means mostly of all Albanian are non religious! Albanians are also the most friendly people I ever have seen

Where do you see Muslim kosovans objecting to it? If they did object then there would be riots or something but there were none. Only a couple of extremists opposed the idea but overwhelmingly people had no problems with the church. Albanians are tolerant and very nom-religious, the church is not only an addition for the Catholic Albanian minority (over 20, 000 kosovar Albanians convert to Christianity every year), but it is also a nice tourist addition. Must I note that Albanians were converted to Islam in the 17th/18th century, before that we were Christians for nearly 2, 000 years. Please don't post more fake facts on any future videos, thanks. Also fun fact, Christopher Hitchens supports Albanians in Kosovo war

@4:56 Albanians tried to blow that monument up while I was working for UN in Kosovo, right after the bombing. But they were not very clever, so noise was there, but the monument still stands. I remember greeting British soldiers, very young, rushing to the spot.

you wont see no veils there that flag represents freedom for all Allbanian people no matter what religion we have there they are equal our overall religion is Albanian and its the only country where muslim and christians marry together how many countries in the world do that

When you think about it, Kosovo independence makes perfect sense. If I were a criminal, I'd want a country of my own more than anything. My laws, my police, my army, my cannabis fields, my everything (including human beings with their precious organs). That's some serious money!
